Low power draw
The Mark 3 runs on just 150 to 500 watts depending on the cooling mode and cabin temperature — easy on a boat's electrical system.
For boaters
The Zero Breeze Mark 3 is a proper compressor air conditioner you can carry aboard — no installation, no through-hull fittings, no marine AC bill. Easy setup, low power draw.

Why boaters choose the Mark 3

The Mark 3 runs on just 150 to 500 watts depending on the cooling mode and cabin temperature — easy on a boat's electrical system.

Runs on DC or AC, with or without shore power. Battery, inverter, generator or your boat's own system — whatever you have aboard.

No installation and no modifications. Drop it where you need cooling, run the hoses through a hatch or portlight — and that's it.

Cools effectively and runs quietly — so you can actually sleep through the night at anchor.
Use it your way
Whether you're sailing off-grid or prepping at the marina, the Mark 3 runs from your setup. If your system can deliver 600W of stable DC power, you're good to go.

Where does the hot air go?
The Mark 3 uses a dual-hose system — like a mini-split air conditioner, but all in one compact unit. One hose draws in outside air to cool the unit, the other pushes the hot air out.
Most boaters vent the hot air through a hatch, a side portlight, or into a vented anchor locker. Some place the unit outside and run the front hoses into the cabin — like adding an external AC to your space.
Cool where it matters
The Mark 3 isn't built to cool your entire interior — and it doesn't need to be. It's made for the spaces that matter most when you're anchored and there's no breeze:
